Please read, this information pertains to all students at Puxico R-8 School. Good Afternoon! As you know, the remainder of our current school year has been cancelled. We are still working on options for High School Graduation, Kindergarten Graduation, Prom, and other important district events. We aren’t delaying these announcements with the intent of not keeping you informed. The situation of this pandemic seems to change daily and we are trying our best to be as responsive as possible. As soon as we have a clear direction we will provide you with the best options to meet the needs of our students and our families. We have had several requests for students to be able to pick up personal items remaining at school. We have worked to develop a plan to fulfill those requests, as safely as possible. Please share this information with your neighbors or other families of our district, that may not see our FB posts. If you do not need to pick up any items, please do not come. We will return them to you at the beginning of our next school session. We continue to provide meal distributions each weekday for the children in our community. If you would like more information about this service please call us at 573-222-3762 We hope that each of you remain safe and healthy. We miss you terribly, and we can’t wait to see you all again!

Please share to help us spread the word! The COVID-19 pandemic is presenting new challenges every day. This will also have an impact on our local FBLA chapter. We had began the sale of smoked pork butts to help raise money for our members to attend the state leadership conference and compete in various events. However, with the new challenges arising from the pandemic we have decided that it would be best to CANCEL the sale of these smoked butts. If you have already purchased one from a member they should be reaching out to you soon in order to return the money that you had paid. If you do not hear from them, reach out to the member that you purchased from in regards to the return of your money. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we feel this is in the best interest for all at this time. We thank everyone for supporting our chapter!
