PUXICO R-8 SCHOOL WILL DISMISS TODAY AT NOON.

We’ve received updated forecasts on the timing of this system. This timing will allow buses a safe window for routes and returning to school. Puxico R-8 School will also operate the FEMA building today.

If you have any concerns about providing for the care of your school aged child at this dismissal time, please call and discuss it with the building offices.

Community members, students, and staff are welcome to use the FEMA shelter.

PLEASE plan ahead. We expect to have a larger than normal turnout.

-This storm system has the potential to be longer than normal, please bring any snacks or supplies you might need.

-Animals will be REQUIRED to be confined in an owner provided pet carrier to enter the FEMA building.

-For everyone’s safety and comfort, weapons, alcohol, drugs, vapes, and tobacco products are prohibited.
